How do I create my Y factor account?

Creating a Y factor account only takes a few minutes. You'll answer some questions about yourself, what you're looking for, and what's important to you, which helps us personalise your experience.

1. Download the app: Download Y factor from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Sign up: You can sign up using Apple, Google, or email address and password. A verification code will be sent to your email that you need to enter to activate it.

3. Create your profile: Choose your nickname, enter your date of birth, and add your location. Depending on whether you're a future parent or donor, we'll also ask for a few details relevant to your profile. Finally, you need to set your preferences related to, e.g., donor commitment after birth and donation method to make sure you get the right connections.

4. Add optional details: You can add photos, write a short introduction about yourself, and share more about your appearance. These details are optional, but can help other users get a better sense of who you are. You can also add or update them later.

5. Tailor your experience: We'll ask you a few personal questions about your journey and priorities. Your answers help us personalise your Y factor experience and can be updated later.
