How can I set up my account?

To get started with Y factor you need to setup your Y factor account. Follow the steps below:

1. Download our Y factor app

2. Sign up: Add the necessary details (first name, last name, email and password)

3. Verify Account: A verification code will be sent to your email

4. Add your profile details:

Add a nickname that will be displayed on the app
A date of birth that will not be displayed but will help us calculate your age
Select your user type: Are you a donor or looking to grow your family? This step is essential to provide you with a personalized app experience tailored to your needs.

5. Add a profile photo: This creates a personal connection and shows off who you are and ensures you get better matches through the app.

6. Add location: Adding a location will help you to get better results with a nearby donor/recipient

7. Recipient/ donor type: Choosing what kind of a recipient/donor type you are will help with better filtering

8. Set your preferences: Setting your preferences related to commitment, method of insemination and donor type will also help us create better results

Your profile is now setup.
